Freedom To Write Checks

With the increased number of denials to make payments through checks the citizens of America are complaining as they are not being able to exercise their rights to write a check.

Ipsos conducted a survey which revealed that ¾ of the Americans want to write a check in order to make payments for their transactions across stores and retail shops.

Besides this the survey revealed that people across the country felt that checks were more reliable and convenient mode of payment. Although this is the scenario most of the retailers don’t accept checks and prefer cash and card as a mode of payment.
A campaign initiated by the name of “Stand Up for Your Right to write checks’ which provides a platform to fight for the right of writing checks as well as creating awareness among people about checks being the most efficient mode of payment.

To facilitate this campaign a micro site has also been developed where one could find out all the details and updates regarding the campaign. The microsite has been named www. righttowritechecks.com serving a central source of contents for the efforts initiated.

This site features all the current news and happenings related to the campaign and tt also has a hyperlink to personal finance resources, an online appeal inviting people for being a part of the campaign. It also includes some videos related to the awareness campaign.

The site includes a humorous series, Duncan Steele, The Man with Checks Appeal’ produced by College Humor. The message behind this video is to communicate the idea of writing checks and making people know how attractive it could be to write checks for payments. The campaign is also up there on social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter where all the updates happenings related to the events gets updated from time to time.

This Campaign to Preserve Payment Freedom has been initiated for bringing the rights of writing checks back to the consumers and is stated to spread across more cities across the country.

    God bless America but I really think the country is going to the dogs who just want to enjoy their political power and do nothin about the ppl and the welfare of US. I am happy that ppl are talking about it now on the web.

    Excellent job by the writer. I m sure the writer himself must have been the victim of No Checks and therefore he understands what goes thru the mind of an ordinary person who is willing to pay but still cannot.

    Thank you Mr Writer do spread some more word about whats happening in the United States. The freedom in the country is becoming worse than the slavery in Africa, I think the government shud quit if they cant act in time.
